The Chairman's Choice competition involved images taken on the route or key landmarks along the way.

Mike Morley's bridge near Bolton Abbey took first prize in the print category; Alex Straughan's road sign at the junction of Ripon's North Road and Palace Road took first prize in the projected category while Karen Noble's bridge over the River Ure, near Middleham, took first prize in the projected plus category.

Club chairman Richard Bryant said:"Our latest contest has certainly raised awareness of the Tour de France among our members who have come up with some great images. The route passes through some of the most beautiful landscapes so they have had plenty photographic opportunities."

Guest judge for the evening was Paul Bullock.
