Image of the Month: May 2016


The image has a serenity but it conveys the harsh reality of the speed at which flooding can cause devastation as it did across our region in December 2015 when places such as Tadcaster and York suffered the might of nature. Photographers were there to document the impact. Club member Andrew Munden caught this scene Floodlands between Aldborough and Boroughbridge on the second day of the floods. Taken using nine stops HDR at 11mm, The. HDR was created in Lightroom and edited using the same software. Color Efex and Silver Efex.
