Bearded Dragon by club member Stuart Whitfield- The First place winner in the Prints from our 'Open' themed camera club competition. The judge commented that it was perfectly exposed and had sharpness all over, but was also very well printed and mounted. Nice work Stuart.


A Quiet Place by club member Ian Ferguson- our First placed Winner of the DPI's from our 'Open' themed camera club competition. The judge commented that he really like the colours and balance of the photo, especially the stained glass and subtle lighting. It was perfectly exposed and focussed. Nice work as well Ian.

Our second monthly online competition was themed 'Rivers'. All the members had an opportunity to score and/or comment on the photos to provide constructive feedback. This popular photo 'Frosty riverbank' was taken by member Mike Morley.

This super photo of local bluebells was taken by club member Hazel Graves. It was chosen to be the cover photo for the May issue of our local magazine Knaresborough Now.

This great star trails photo was taken by club member Tom Fleetham. It is a composite of several photos from the same position and shows the effect of the earth spinning around the stars causing trails of light around the pole start that is stationary in the centre of the photo.

Dust Storm- a print made by club member Lesley Harris was our clubs highest scoring entry in the YPU annual photo competition. This competition is made amongst all the camera clubs around Yorkshire
