Our image of the month is 'Blea Tarn and Langdale Pikes' by club member Ian Ferguson. This was the winning photo in our open competition and was praised by the judge for the sharpness of detail through the photo. The small fence at the bottom left leads your eye through the photo on to the trees and then on to the lovely snow capped mountains.
Our December 2020 Image of the month is called 'Keep Safe' and was taken by club member Robert Harris. It was the winner of our club 'New Normal' competition and was highly praised by the judge. We like the clever montage of many Covid street signs and the balance of bold colours and street textures. We see so many of these signs everywhere we go these days but never think to take photos of them, so hope this photo is an inspiration.
